GridON’s is managed by entrepreneurs and technical experts from high-tech, finance, sales and marketing, and electrical engineering, all with a depth of experience and expertise which will efficiently guide GridON in its technical and business development on an international level.

Yoram Valent – CEO, Co-Founder
Yoram has spent the past 26 years, 12 of which in the US, in senior positions in technology companies at all stages of development, from startups, through to multi-billion dollar, publicly traded corporations. After four years as president of a California-based networking solution provider, Radlan Inc., Yoram led to its successful acquisition by Marvell Technology Group (“MRVL”). He later served as VP at Marvell for five years; overseeing a matrix organization across the US, Israel and Asia. Prior to Radlan, Yoram was the president of California-based NetReality Inc., and earlier, served in executive business roles at Madge Networks and LANNET. Yoram holds a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management and a M.Sc. in Computer Automation and Robotics.

Roy Iscovitsch – President, Co-Founder
Roy has more than 25 years combined industry experience, including founding and building businesses and executive teams, developing business strategy; managing “turn-arounds” and international sales & marketing in North American, European and Far-Eastern markets. With a broad expertise of multiple markets, including the automotive and aerospace manufacturing industries, enterprise software and financial services, Roy was the CEO of Earnix Ltd., Proficiency Inc. and AIOI Seiki Europe.

Uri Garbi – Vice President, Research & Development
Uri has spent the past 19 years in senior R&D positions in the high-tech industry, mostly in the electronics and semiconductor space. He has managed large engineering teams in Texas Instruments and Zoran Corporation, leading multi-site, multi-national research and development projects. Uri was a member of the Israeli operation management team in both companies. Previously, Uri completed 6 years of military service performing various R&D roles in a technological intelligence unit of the Israeli Defense Force. Uri holds a B.Sc. (cum laude) in Electrical Engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, and a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Tel-Aviv University.

Vladimir Rozenshtein, Chief Scientist
Vladimir earned his M.Sc. degree in Electromechanical Engineering at the Leningrad Mining Institute and an M.Sc. degree in Applied Mathematics from Leningrad University. He has been working for many years in designing and maintaining electrical equipment in the mining and machinery industries. Vladimir worked at the Israel Electric Corporation as a test and design engineer and since then has been involved in a number of R&D projects involved with Fault Current Limiters (FCL) and was part of the Bar-Ilan team which developed the basic GridON technology.

 


Board of Directors


Matty Vengerik – Chairman of the Board, Co-Founder
Matty has been involved with the energy industry since 1988, completing more than $100 billion worth of transactions over this period. Most recently he ran Navitas Capital, a financial advisory firm focusing on global utilities. Previously, he spent more than 17 years with Credit Suisse First Boston, where he was a managing director and the Head of the European and Asian Utilities Group within Investment Banking. Prior to that, Matty managed the Emerging Markets Utilities Group of CSFB, a franchise he created and led and CSFB's Latin American energy group. Matty holds an MBA from Tel Aviv University.

Robin Winckworth – Finance Director, Wilson Transformer Company
Robin has a strong history of executive financial management in Europe, South Africa, Australia, the Middle East and Asia. In Australia, he has handled financial projects for the mining, electrical, manufacturing, IT and transport industries. Appointed Finance Director of Wilson Transformers in 1995, he is currently responsible for developing Joint Ventures in high voltage insulation laboratories in Malaysia and Philippines. Robin graduated from Witwatersrand University, Johannesburg, South Africa.
